Week Three

This week was filled with lots of fun and exciting new opportunities both in class and off campus.

We continued with our Customer Relations curriculum.  The students had the opportunity to lead the class this week and learned that being a teacher and having the students pay attention isn't as easy as it looks.  Some students also had their first exams in class and their first papers due as well.  The students completing Independent Study projects have continued gathering information on their specific topics and have enjoyed sharing their  projects with their mentors

Our new students also started their first week at Chocolate World with the support of our amazing team members at Keystone Human Services.  The students were able to experience working in the bakery, directing customers on and off of the ride, working at the 4-D movie and also at make your own Chocolate Bar.

It would be a huge understatement to say that the students are working hard and in turn are equally exhausted by the end of their days.

The most popular time of the week has been the interactions between the students and their Peer Mentors.  We've heard (and seen pictures) of some pretty fierce air hockey games.  The smile and laughs shared throughout the entire group are simply priceless!!

OVER THE WEEKEND:
Complete assignments for classes you are taking for credit or auditing.

No homework for Career Studies Class.

NEXT WEEK:
Be prepared to start having due dates for your Career Studies project.

Get ready for your first trip to Member's First!

MAY THE DREAMS OF YOUR PAST,
BECOME THE REALITY OF YOUR FUTURE!
