We are off to a great start for our 2016 Fall Semester!!
Our first week consisted of all the regular issues that arise at the beginning of each semester. We spent time figuring out schedules, finding the right textbooks, locating classrooms, completing registration, and of course attending classes.
Some of the highlights of our week included:
- Meeting new friends
- Meeting the Peer Mentors
- Scavenger Hunt around campus
- Meeting with Keystone Human Services & learning about our Career Field Trips
- Exploring new clubs on campus
- Enjoying free ice cream in the courtyard on the first day of classes
- Playing air hockey against the Peer Mentors in the new SEC
- Enjoying lunch at Stacks
Each day the students went home absolutely exhausted and came back the next day with huge smiles on their faces. We truly cannot ask for anything more!!
OVER THE WEEKEND:
(Each week we will post what we suggest students focus on over the weekend.)
This weekend please complete any homework you may have in your Academic Courses.
NEXT WEEK:
Next week we will begin Unit 1 Lesson 1 in our Customer Relations Curriculum as well as Lesson 1 in our Transitions Curriculum.
