Back to Campus

All of our students have done a great job adjusting to being on campus and learning their new schedules.  All 14 of our students are auditing academic courses, participating in the Customer Relations Curriculum, as well as job shadowing or participating in practicum experiences at local businesses.  We are all very impressed with how involved our students are becoming on campus.  Just last week we had numerous students attend Criminal Justice Club, Swimming Club, Equestrian Club, and many students are very interested in becoming involved with THON.

We are so proud of each and every one of you.  Keep up the great work!!

Peer Mentor - Student Meet and Greet

The Peer Mentors put in some time with the talented Grace Alfieri to prepare themselves for their role as Peer Mentors and get prepared before the students to arrived.

After working with Grace,  we took some time to invite the students to campus and have them meet the new Peer Mentors.  The group participated in some fun "Minute to Win It" activities and if I remember correctly the Red Team came out victorious.  Great effort to the Blue team, and most importantly, fun was had by all!!

A New Year!

This week the Career Studies students started back. As of this semester we have seven new students that have joined us! And were so thrilled and happy to have them along with us!!!! So this week, the 7 new students got to experience some events on campus such as the CUB Walk, a job fair and the start of the semester kick off fair. And I know that they all enjoyed it! And as the semester goes on, there will be more and more experiences and activities here both on and off campus that they will be able to participate in. But were SO excited to watch as these students grow and develop! And we look forward to a great year and semester ahead!
